Virat Kholi was born in Dehli on the 5th November 1988. Kholi represented the city’s cricket team at various age-group levels. He captained in Under-19s World Cup 2008 in Malaysia. After a few months, he made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka at the age of 19. Very soon he established himself as a regular ODI middle order batsman. He was also the part of the squad that won the 2011 World Cup. He made his test debut in 2011. In 2013 he reached the number one spot in ODI Ranking. In 2014 he became the top-ranked T20 batsman in the T20 Ranking. He also has a record for three consecutive centuries in ODI, first player for India and tenth overall.
